Madras curry sauce

Love this curry full of flavour and just the right amount of spice. I use this to batch cook a load of curries and put them in the freezer. This is my Saturday night treat absolutely stunning.

I have tried most of the range but Madras is my favourite followed closely by Jalfrezi.
You cannot go wrong with these excellent mixes. Be sure to get the book!

The best going

Love it, tried many jars from supermarkets and I must say this is the best sauce I have ever tried.

The ingredients are so much better and the tase is fantastic, I won’t be buying and sauces from the supermarkets again.

East at home is my new go to for my sauces from now on 👍👍

So good

I am a vegetarian so I use chickpeas in my madras sauce and it delicious! I cook the sauce on the hob for about 15mins on a low to medium heat stirring it occasionally, then I add the cooked or tined chickpeas and leave on the heat for further 10 mins. I have it with rice or a naan for a really tasty meal. I would recommend you try it especially if you are vegetarian or vegan.

Madras: Could be Thicker!

The taste is great, it's nice and hot, but a tad watery. A little thicker and it would be perfect!

My favourite and it doesn't disappoint.

I've made many a madras at home but they have never tased as good as this does, and it's a whole lot easier and quicker as well. Fabulous flavour and texture with a good kick to it. Not too much, but just the right amount for me. I have half a dozen pouches in storage along with many other East at Home ones ready for a quick and excellent curry.
