Made from a blend of milder kashmiri chillies with a distinct red colour, ground to a vibrant bright powder to give a warm heat and flavour similar to paprika but hotter. Kashmiri chilli powder provides a midler heat and a red colour which is often used in tandoori or tikka marinades.

Spices have a shelf life of around 6-12 months if kept in ideal conditions. They can be kept longer than this but will start to lose their pungency.

Seal Tight: Ensure the packet is sealed tightly after each use or keep the spices in an airtight container such as a jar.

Avoid Moisture: Keep away from stoves and sinks to prevent humidity.

Use Clean Spoons: Avoid cross-contamination with wet or used spoons.

Kashmiri Chilli.

Used it for the first time last night. I was doing a BIR Chicken Bhuna, this being the second time as I found it to mild for my taste, but by adding the Kashmiri Powder I found it gave a nice background heat. Great stuff.

Use kashmiri chilli in all my curries just to add that little bit extra kick and taste to it ...but also add it to prawn cocktail instead of paprika
